એક સૂર્ય : ત્રણ રણ (તાન્કા) - કિશોરસિંહ સોલંકી

સવાર

વસંત આવી
ઝાંખરને ડાળે ! ત્યાં
સુક્કા પરણે
ઓસબિંદુમાં સૂર્ય
બેઠો સેવે રણને.

બપોર

હરણાં ઊભાં
પીએ મૃગજળને
ખજૂરી દોડે
વાયરાની વચાળે
જુએ હાંફતું રણ.

સાંજ

ચોળતો આંખો
ક્ષિતિજના માળામાં
લપાતો સૂર્ય
ધીમે કંકુ પગલે
આથમે ભીનું રણ.

રણ અને સૂર્યની દૈનિક રમતને કવિએ આ તાન્કા-ત્રયીમાં વણી લીધી છે. તાન્કા (હાઈકુની જેમ જ) જાપાની કાવ્યપ્રકાર છે. 31 શ્રુતિઓની કુલ 5 પંક્તિઓથી તાન્કા બને છે. પહેલી ત્રણ પંક્તિઓમાં હાઈકુની જેમ જ 5-7-5 શ્રુતિઓ હોય છે અને છેલ્લી બેમાં સાત-સાત શ્રુતિઓ હોય છે.

It is really difficult to make imapct on readers with such a copact form. Only a master poet can handle this well. However, it is a good try. I recommend to read Snehrashmi, a master of Haiku!
